WHAT IS "FOOD DRUG INTERACTION" ?

A food-drug interaction can occur when taking medicine at the same time you eat foods. This synergistically causes your body not/delay to absorb the medicine and interfere with the body ability, function, and condition.

This interaction happens with both prescription and over-the-counter medicines such as vitamins, antacids, and iron pills. Not all medicines interact with foods, however, some foods are affected by what you eat and when you eat.
